Somebody seems to be doing something naughty, but your hands are clean. Also, please clarify...

Was instructed to not fill out the blanks, not notarize and to just have signer sign the "said notarized docs".

Seems to me that 'said notarized docs' were not and are not actually notarized...yes? If signer is willing to sign a paper with blanks, it would NOT be a notarization-as-we-know-it.
