there and everything doesn't always fit in a neat tidy box, with respect to the notary. That's what we call individualism - and it runs the gamut. Everything from unbelievable courtesy (what would you like to drink, would you like to have dinner with us?) to letting the notary sit there as though he/she is considered an appliance of some sort, until they are good and ready to come to the table to sign, due to their apparently inability to plan for the appointment that they themselves made.
Rather than receive an unnecessary lesson (or yet another Luckydog comment) on how things "should be," I believe that Cheryl was just sharing an event that happened to her - and we've all had them.
