Here in the bay area, it's expected to be able to obtain any service at the touch of a button, so GNW is quite lucrative. Also, most businesses no longer employ a full-time notary, so I get a ton a business from law firms, tech companies, and even banks. About the only brick and mortar left in my area for notary is UPS and even that's dwindling bc you have to make an appt when the notary is in. However, GNW is definitely not going to sustain 4.5+ million notaries once RON swallows up the mortgage business, that is if notaries let that happen. |
