I have been in the hot seat many times over the years. They were not my best moments, but in the end, when you dish it, you gotta take it, and own your portion, especially starting a thread the way you did (as you say) "hiding" behind a screen name. Takes 2+ to tango.
Apparently I struck a nerve, ruffled feathers with you in a comment, and you thought you would get me expelled...little do you know how this works here. The forum doesn't work like that, no matter who you think is behind you, you are pretty much on your own to fight your own battles. When you start off in a bad light it never gets brighter.
This is a notary forum with thousands of opinions, very few posters, and a lot of lurkers. This is why many are intimidated to post or have an opinion. Intimidation is not in my character to cower from, instead, it challenges me. I feel that was your MO with me, sorry, but we can move on if you so chose to.
People may not like you, agree with you, but the character you display when posting and the retaliation afterward speaks more volumes than the problem discussed.
I respect even the people I challenge because they stay and they stand for themselves in a self-controlled manner. Do I have to agree? Nope, but they are here and just as important as anyone else including me.
If you don't like what someone says, perhaps time to step back and see it from another angle and see what went wrong, stop pushing an agenda, make a change. I have seen flaws in your posts, in your personality overtime... Were and are they there? IDK, maybe, but after you derailed, looks like yes.
I chose to use a screen name because I can and because I have a strong-willed opinion and speak it. I don't want to ever mix that opinion with my professionalism of being a NSA.
My opinion and sometimes being a warrior for the underdog here has nothing to do with my business, so I separate it. Why would anyone need to know my real name? To cause harm to me? Probably, because some take things way too personal, and revenge is sweet to destroy my career or whatever they can.
This is entertainment for me and a place to read what others of like business are doing, help with problems or call them out when abusing the system.
When I click off, it's gone. Nothing personal, although hard when on that hot seat. I take it, I stay, I own it, I apologize when needed and move on.
You can do the same if you chose to.
Everyone here has something to offer, including you. That is not to be minimized.
