You very well may be right. When this recent refi frenzy started, lots of the people I met with were serial-refinancers, riding the rates down, and doing it again every time it passed another so many points. But more recently, I'm starting to see people who haven't refinanced in years. They probably have more to save, but it could be they're either not as focused on the issue or have had more difficulty qualifying. Just speculation. But it could be that the low-hanging fruit of the market has already been picked.
