Re: A Fidelity office is asking me to complete a CA Ack

Docs are being signed in FL. Provided the FL notary follows FL law, using a FL Acknowledgement should be a non-issue. Law states we are bound by reciprocity -- that's every state in the union which includes every county (or parish) in each state.

As LD states, " I wouldn't be sending 2 back. There can only be one, and when in FL do as FL does."

Maybe call the Sonoma County Recorder's Office, speak to a supervisor and have that Fidelity person on the line. http://sonomacounty.ca.gov/CRA/Clerk-Recorder/
