Definitely not CA compliant. I would attach a loose certificate. You say "stamp it" and I believe you mean stamp it with a stamp saying something to the effect of "see attached California compliant certificate" and that would be fine. I don't use one of those stamps. I simply draw a diagonal line across the non-compliant verbiage and write "see attached" and initial. Both work just fine.
Don't know why you would get your hand slapped if notarization is taking place in California and subject property is in California and document is being recorded in California. Adding another page to a recorded document adds to the cost. But, they should have allowed for that (imo). |
