That's a tough situation. Trying not to be critical, but you weren't really prepared for this.
I can sort of relate, because I had a few doc-printing nightmares when I was starting up.
I can't imagine $86 from Fedex for printing, though, and it sounds like there's something wrong there.
It usually costs me about $22 when I have to print outside like that.
Big problem is that you made a mistake and aren't available to fix it. That means potentially that the loan won't fund. I hope you have E&O insurance, because they could made an issue of this if they wanted to. Like it or not, we have a big responsibility in this biz, even though we're not paid the big bucks.
