| Depends on what ($) you can find a single LT5000 for as others have said, and/or if you need a second 2 tray capable machine. LT from the 5150 would also fit 5140 so you woud have good backup, and only have to stock consumables (toner,drum roller) for one family of machines, and be familiar with one set of blinking lights, rather than your meagerie of machines. Refurb Brother machines are usually refurbed by Brother and come with their full 1year warranty, so check that out. Try PCNATION.com for Brother refurbs. Their prices are usally better than Brother themselves. Over the years. I've been VERY satisfied with Brother products and support. As with all manufacturers you will run into a 1st level tech support bozo who may be new and doesn't grasp the problems of the world, but with a callback or bump up to 2nd level I've gotten excellant help. Currently have a 5050LT and a 5170DNLT and a 8-10 year old 2750 laser fax that I have to decide if I'm going to replace the drumroller or get a new faster fax (2920) or a MFC8220 which the LT5000 also fits.
