Here is the link to the Bill that we've been discussing. The main thing that concerns me is this part..

"(b) Exceptions- No requirement or prohibition may be imposed under the laws of any State with respect to any subject matter regulated under section 301, relating to individual access to, and correction of, personal electronic records."

So, if this thing goes thru then who do we listen to? The state or the feds? And how does it relate to enotarization? Surely the states will now have to update the notary laws? Talk about the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing....I can't wait to see how the lender's handle it. By the time thier done we'll be required to give the borrower a cavity check....
