No, but I wouldn't do it unless they provided a specific written request with all the required info, as stated in our notary handbook. A generic request isn't sufficient. If they DO send a specific written request, then you're required by law to provide it. Frankly, if that was a routine part of the instructions, I think I might be tempted to tell them to go find someone else if they think I need babysitting to do my job right.
Making copies of journal entries is major PITA and a somewhat time consuming activity. All other info on that page has to be blocked out for confidentiality reasons and, depending on how their entry(ies) fall on the page, it may not be easy, depending on what journal you use. In this type of situation, if they insisted and sent a legal request, I think I'd be tempted to send them an invoice for the $.30 we're allowed to charge for doing that...
