Have you considered in your little figures, that you have a house to run? Do you have children or family members who rely on your income? Can you afford to take the risk with backup funds? Will these backup funds be your retirement money? Does your family rely on your current work for benefits like health? Have you completed a cost analysis for doing the job?
Don't dive into something that could tail spin you into a disaster.
ahahahha are you indipendly wealthy and it does not matter? all kidding aside... look at the whole picture. Try your connections PART TIME and see where it gets you.
