signing and notarizing your documents.

A closing is done by the title company and involves the handling of funds and transmission of those funds, etc., etc., etc. so I intentionally avoid that term including when I'm asked that sometimes at the signing table.

Tangentially, for refinances when I occasionally encounter a 'reader,' I gently remind them that this is a scheduled "signing" - not a scheduled "reading." Wink
