| Title can no longer 'wash their hands' Notary fees in a Mortgage Loan Transaction. I learned this 18 months ago... I went directly to Title when an SS did not pay me. I expected to get NOWHERE... Wow what a change... The Title Officer on the Closing called me directly and said they could not have a Signing Service in their database who have unpaid Notary Fees outstanding. Don't know why that is but within 48 hours I had a Paypal and they paid the fees on it! |
