Not so much stupid as ignorant.
Many NSAs have no experience with mortgage lending, the function of escrow, the purpose of title, etc. etc. They don't understand that a loan package must include all documents when presented to underwriting for final approval. They do not know the function nor legal import of disclosures. Ergo, they do not comprehend the full picture, the importance of exactly what an NSA does.
Sadly, many real estate brokers have no idea, either. |
