YW...I think too much time is spent worrying about the newbies instead of ourselves. I see it as not a threat, as the majority of newbies cannot break into the area that we dominate...1000+ closing under your belt to be given consideration to close for good companies. The only thing newbies do is keep these crappy companies in business, and then cry later when they don't get paid. Newbies are hungry for a chance, the experience, the education, so will work for free. They don't care about the money or profit right now as much as going out and practicing and learning, and of course, they think they will get paid above the 50+ before them that didn't. On the job training is what it boils down to. THAT is what is killing all of us by driving wages offered down further. jmo |
