Some people take EVERYTHING no matter what price is thrown out there, no matter from what company. For the ones with continuing education, decades of experience, overqualifications and still doing $75.00 refi's is pretty sad and just shows a lack of self-esteem for themselves and the profession in general. They dip into newbie territory and shouldn't be or need to be.
For most of us with experience, we do have a red line drawn. There are always exceptions such as Quicken loan for $85.00, but we know they are less than 85 pages, pay the following week, so there are exceptions to every rule. It's unfortunate, but we can't change certain mentalities and greed. My motto is work smarter, not harder. |
