To be clearer - the tracking numbers on the UPS website showed that they were issued & did not show any other information. The packages were scanned at the UPS store but this was not reflected on UPS tracking. So as far as anyone tracking the packages would know, the packages were not mailed!!
Having the receipt made it easy to show that I mailed the packages and that the failure to deliver was not my fault. I believe that the ability to demonstrate that I did not lose packages is critical.
Get a physical receipt! A few extra piece of paper will not contribute to climate change or the rise of the oceans, but can sure save you a great deal of aggravation and from possibly losing a client. |
