Hi Kelly,
Arizona is about 7 million people with over half of those in Maricopa County. That's where Phoenix, Scottsdale, lots of suburbs and most of the notaries live too. GNW fees are $10/signature and the state allows a low rate for travel.
Housing costs are lower as are taxes (so we are told). Probably services are lower too.
We have lots of heat and desert and mountains with winter snow. No ocean beaches.
One good thing is that you don't have to write out the signers' info and get a signature for every single notarial act!
