A well known signing company that starts with an "R" and ends with an "O" is late once again. It was due on the 3rd, now the 11th, said they mailed on the 5th. I have worked many times with them and signed up with this company about 3 years ago, and always the payments needed to be reminded, but not overly bad. I take them as a filler as usually larger than most but do pay a bit above the rest.
Well, out of all the excuses for paying late this time, they came up with sending my check to an address I lived at in 2010 in south Fl and didn't even do business with them then at that address!! They couldn't tell me how I got my 1099 for 2020 or how I was assigned "local" closings all year if I was 250 miles away! They once again need an updated W-9 before cutting my check.
I asked for their accounting, "well we really don't have one"... After this total lie or blunder on them, it will be my last closing with them. What happened to my address and where did they come up with this one when I didn't work for them then? It's scary. |
