If you're after general notary work (GNW), then signing services are probably not the way you wan to go. They have to take a cut and that might not leave much for you. Try searching that topic and be prepared to sift through tons of stuff. There's good info here on that topic, when you find it. And if you haven't already, also make sure you know what your state allows you to charge (and that it's worth pursuing there). Some states even have limitations on how much you can charge for travel.

For GNW, you need to get your name out there. Pounding the pavement and dropping off business cards everywhere is a good place to start - and may be necessary.
