| What kind of a response is that? What's wrong with you? How incredibly rude to respond to an honest inquiry from a colleague with such a tone. I don't think in my entire professional life anyone has every communicated to me in such a tone. Yes I've heard for years that you need to use Laser printers and in my loan class I also heard it there. I have always used Laser printers. But nobody ever said WHY or WHO is requiring it. At one point, I heard it suggested that the guideline started because it's cheaper to print on laser printers, and that's what it was all about. Now that I have an opportunity to use a high capacity inkjet MFP at an amazing cost, I thought it would be reasonable to reach out to my colleagues and confirm the requirement, especially the WHY and the WHO is requiring it. |
