| Not sure of the actual term but what you are talking about is a "tail" policy. In theory, since you are doing mostly refinancing or purchases with mortgages, I'd guess 30 years you will need this, until the last loan you notarized gets paid off. Of course, there are a lot of other issues, such as if you notarize a fraudulent deed and no one knows for 31 years or 51 years. |
