My son and daughter-in law sold their home a few months ago, first selling it to a couple who soon bailed out as they couldn't afford it. Both my son and his wife were bummed but then got an offer from a family that was $10,000 more and was to be their first home.
I performed the signing and never met a nicer family.
They lived in an apartment and had boxes and boxes of their stuff stacked against a wall, waiting for that special moment. As they signed the last doc the wife said "Finally my dream has come true!" At that their son and daughter came out of the bedroom and all hugged.
My daughter-in law left them flowers and a bottle of champagne and apple cider for the teens to celebrate in their new home! |
