Re: NC Closings
Posted by Shannon/Va of ? on 2/16/05 10:20pm Msg #20954
I live 15 minutes to the NC border and when I bought and sold land down there (investment stuff) I am an examiner and notary so I asked alot of questions to become more familiar with NC as opposed to Va. NC is an attorney state. Though I have been searching for 14 years, I can't do a search there without an attorney to sign the notes. And closings are only done by attorneys. Unless you find SS that have an attorney on staff to oversee everything.
