Stupid question?
Posted by Becky/KS of ? on 4/25/05 5:04pm Msg #33876
At the very beginnin of Notarial wording, where it states:

State of Kansas, County ss:

This instrument was acknowledged.....

What does "ss" stand for? I've always inserted the county name right after the state and I've never been told that it's a mistake. But today I received a doc with sample. It lists the county name after the "ss". Which is correct?
