There is one valid exception to questioning and even forbidding someone's religious beliefs. That is if their religious beliefs require others to believe as you do, to follow your interpretations of said belief, and either requires or allows you to hurt others who you cannot impose said beliefs upon. A person's religious beliefs are theirs and theirs alone. They cannot harm anyone else, thus depriving those people of their rights, in the exercise of it. I know within rational and logical discussions this is understood. It was the "Period, full stop" portion that this was meant for. |
