I guess you haven't been following the news - there's been a spike in new cases and deaths since Memorial Day. Some states - including yours - are setting new records daily. And we won't know what happens with the protestors for another week or so. Many were at least wearing masks and while there was no social distancing, they weren't in an enclosed space.
