| Both Trump and Press Secretary McAninny said today that neither Trump nor Pence was briefed, but the WH didn't dispute the basic facts of the report and declined to respond when asked whether it was in the Presidential Daily Briefing (which Trump rarely if ever reads). Since the facts are undisputed, the reporting is likely accurate, which means the NSC has been aware of this for months, yet nothing has been done. It also means Trump SHOULD have been aware of it, but since he has the attention span of a 6-month old puppy it may have not made an impression on him. |
