| It's about time notaries realize these companies are handing them a bunch of BULL. They keep calling and saying "ALL other notaries are doing their closings for $45 & $12 to print 2 large sets and do FAXBACKS". It's about time you under-paid signers realize how much it costs you to do a signing. First, travel is up to 20 miles one way, what does that cost you in gas and upkeep? 2nd how much it costs to print approx. 300 pages, paper, toner, cartridge, machine. 3rd, you have to give them up to 2 hours before signing time to get you docs so figure at least 3hrs for the signing & printing, another hour of driving and then how long it takes to do their fax backs. 4th how about your insurance. 5th, Let us not forget about UNCLE SAM'S taking a piece. If you really want to work for about $3.75 an hour, way don't you get a job at McDonalds, they pay more! |
