do not have a membership with that organization. Because some of our partner title companies require it, we do hold their annual certification and BGC. Personally speaking, I don't pay for their membership nor do I pay for their training -- only the certification and BGC and consider it the (evil) price of doing business.
Many of us have found that XYZ (how we refer to that organization here) is only out to line their corporate coffers and doesn't really care about representing notaries. After reading OP, seems we have another convert .......
