If the notary needs to add loose certs, 1.5 hrs is being very optimistic, IMO. That's only allowing less than 2 minutes per cert. Even if writing very quickly, that's a really tough pace, unless they don't include any optional info to ID the specific doc, and use lots of abbreviations. By the time certificates and journal entries are completed, let alone the scan, I think it potentially could take up to twice that time.

The notary who agreed to do it for $125 is in for a rude awakening, unless (s)he cuts lots of corners. I guess there will always be folks who will sell themselves short. (I made more than that this am for six signatures - including travel, of course.)
