One thing I learned to do is have at least one small bill that hits monthly (like a utility bill, cell phone service, or whatever) set up on automatic payment to each of the cards that I don't use frequently. So they all get used and paid off monthly. I also don't run balances, so I never have to think about my credit score (which I recently found out was well over 800).
