schools delayed in southern Iowa. Heard a road was closed this morning. Got my first call for a job thankfully from a Kansas City company so they understand why I have to look at forecast before taking a signing. I have zero interstates to travel, just curvy little highways and some grassy roads most times. so weather, time of day are everything. As the guy said, for the title companies and banks, they don't care about weather, they just care about money! an honest guy.
I am taking the job driving 1 hr 13 min to Marshalltown at noon. At least it's daylight and roads should be cleared by then. More snow though Tuesday night into Wednesday. Already tired of this early winter. |
