There is another state who has many restrictions on what can and can't be notarized. It seems like platforms have backed off of trying to comply with that state's notary laws. Only one has attempted to comply and it's not my favorite and apparently not for other notaries, either. So, they have this ability, but no quality platforms to choose from.

This is what would happen to CA under this law. Platforms would not be able to accommodate them without a lot of high maintenance work to meet requirements. They would not cater to the requirements.
