Even marketing, if the business isn't out there, it isn't going to help you much, Out of sight out of mind as soon as you walk out that door. If there is some business, they have the people they have been working with on top of their list. I am not marketing personally for any new companies. For those I do work with, I am the #1 they contact...and I am guessing the same from most companies out there right now.
I think the cruel hard facts are pretty evident...either stick it out in and use the downtime to learn RON, or side table this as a hobby while looking for something else. We have too many notaries in this business now than ever before to compete with to get a living fee, and RON is the enemy for most of us needing to use this as a single income.
