Same thing happened here. Then the Lender made a mistake so I ended up going back a third time. Total cost, over 6 Xs their new lower fee, whereas if it was originally scheduled with a professional receiving a decent fee in the first place, title would have saved money, borrowers would have been so happy they would tell their friends and family what a great experience it was and Lender would have made a few more loans. the original notary on the 1st trip did not handle it well and I don't even know who it was.
