I don't know how widespread this is yet, but today, when I went to drop off docs, inside they had a do-it-yourself scanner kiosk. I was able to quickly scan all packages, then get a printed receipt right there. Next to it was a drop box, so no waiting in line! (I sure wish my local UPS store had something like that, but it's a tiny location and they probably don't even have room for it. (I also doubt we'll see something like that at franchise locations.)
That is going to be my go-to FedEx location from now on whenever I have a choice or am in that area! (It also helps that they now have the latest overnight pickup in the area.  ) |
