OMG.. I can't believe this. I am sorry if I stirred you up in any way. These people are truly sociopaths. They don't think they do any wrong. Not paying notaries is fine in their mind. In my case they blamed me or my mailman or something. Then insisted to get paid I should pay $25. to stop payment. I probably should have let it go upon payment. Unfortunately, I let her emails push my buttons. But further they take no responsibility for not paying people deducting some arbitrary amount just because. The woman is delusional. I am sorry for your trouble with her also. She is right: we do have better things to do with our time. I just wonder if I will get another 1099 next year because she did actually send the check in January 2006. In her mind I am sure she thinks she can deduct my payment 2 times even though I only got paid once (albeit minus $25). Good luck to you and thanks for your support. Again I am truly sorry you were subjected to her venomous tirade. |
