I know this won't work for everyone, especially if you have teenagers or elderly parents... But it's been one of the best things I've ever learned to do. (Emails would be pinging in all night long - and I'm a light sleeper.) Phone calls still do come through, though. I may not like getting the occasional early phone call from the east coast folks who are 3 hours ahead, but if it's from a title co offering a nice fee, I'll happily live with it.

Every phone is different, of course, but I'd think this is doable on most smartphones (on Android devices for certain). The downside is that you have to remember to turn them back on the next morning! Wink
