That's the most important part of the statement above, IMO.
For the record, there are some tolls around here (which can be hefty), but I usually manage to avoid them, which usually means a little bit more time and mileage. I also gas up at Costco ($2.899 yesterday), but other stations I saw were from $3.119 to $3.419. I also print on whatever size of paper is presented to me. These days, I don't eat lunch out at all. If my schedule doesn't bring me home for meals, I keep a little cooler with healthy snacks to tide me over, which usually get consumed while driving to the next stop. (Even before Covid, I didn't eat fast-food.)
