.... you described it exactly! Behind a glass while I handed guard docs and watched prisoner sign while I held the phone instructing. If its California, the ID will be his Prison ID, so no worries there UNLESS it doesnt match the name on the documents - I did not like to give my journal to guard to watch sign and thumprint - they held onto the journal and stamp until i left... Wont do any more jail signings... do not like the search! Let the attorney do it.
