 I'm conflicted

I have an outstanding payment for a signing service which is almost 60 days. After several unanswered emails I made a call to the owner yesterday who stated that they need to collect some items from me before they can issue payment. They have a W9 and BGC on file, the items they 'need' are notary agreements and such. I told them they don't need anything other than the W9 to pay me and could they please move it along already. IMO they should have collected the other stuff before I worked for them, not after. They are insistent they need these things to process payment. At this point I feel like I am engaged in a battle of wits.

I have no intention of working for these people in the future. I have done a grand total of 4 signings for them in the past 3 years and it took well over 30 days for them to pay in 3 of those cases. In addition, the have a 'no fund, no pay' clause in their agreement which I don't want to agree to.

My scanner is not working at the moment so I'm looking at at least another hour or so of work to get the scanner working, review and sign everything, upload to their website, etc. etc. and I really don't feel like dealing with it.

I'm trying to decide whether to refuse and insist they pay up, or just send the stuff to them and move on with my life.

Flies, honey and all that....
