The worst I've ever seen being 2nd part notary is the one that crossed out not the borrowers name in the acknowledgement but every single signature line with a giant X through it for my signer... Every one in the entire package crossed out. I have no idea why they thought they were sending this package on to a 2nd signer when they hadn't left any room for them to sign but... they did.
I've seen plenty of small errors but That is the only time I've contacted title from the signing table to say what the heck am I supposed to do with this... had to send them pictures of the docs to forward the lender cuz they couldn't even understand what I was getting at. We Ended up having my borrower just sign above and/or around the crossouts and somehow it made it through. |
