 I don't look for all of that 'extra' on a passport...

As long as it has the signers picture, name and signature...and the person before me is the same as the picture, and signatures match, I'm satisfied with that.

IL doesn't have additional instructions notarial laws on how to properly identify US (or foreign) passports, therefore, looking for more info in a passport goes beyond my scope as a notary, imho.
