We have a community garden in our city, mainly for people who live on restricted properties (condos and apt). Annual Membership is $50. With that, you get the use of all garden materials, tools and educational opportunities, and events. You get your own 4×16 space for a year, which is quite large. They also have bat houses, pollinators, and speakers each Saturday.
