Where I have heard that some signing agencies and title companies are requesting this. Thus far I have been fortunate not to have to experience it. In fact, most of the signing agencies and title agencies I am dealing with now are not even asking for a copy of the ID. Only evidence is the recorded ID number in my Notary Journal.
