Re: It IS confusing and Yoli attempted to clear this foggy

The "NotarizeNow.com" domain appears to be unused and available. The confusion may be that when you search for "Notarize Now", "Notarize.com" comes up because they use the phrase "notarize now..." in their promo verbiage. So, like Lee/AR said, there are probably just two different companies, Notarize.com, the key player in the RON world, and "NotarizeNow.us", a signing service out of Fallbrook, with no connection to RON that I can see.

To the OPs question, their website seemed to me to be pretty basic (perhaps a GoDaddy template?) and makes me wonder about the notary expertise of the principle, unnamed on the site. The very first line of info talks about "authenticating" documents to prevent fraud, and says "Our company will make sure your documents are verified...". IMO, that choice of verbiage is potentially misleading to the public and isn't how most of us talk about what we do. Just sayin'...

The website is new (copyright 2024), although from Yoli's post, it looks like they organized in 2001. Personally, I'd proceed with caution. I'm always suspicious of a site like this when the principle doesn't disclose their name(s) there (or any info on their "leadership team") and doesn't appear to have much of an online presence or track record, even though they're asking us to extend them credit if we accept an assignment from them. From Yoli's info, the leadership team seems to consist of the Ramsays and several corporate (or legal?) backers. (I used to work across the street from their address, expensive multi-story building in downtown Glendale, CA.)
