Wow... That doesn't make sense to me. I could be wrong, but I always thought that we had a choice between using the IRS standard deduction vs. actual expenses and that actual depreciation would only apply if we were using the latter method. What's the point in having a default mileage allowance amount if we have to calculate actual depreciation anyway? SMH
I wish the IRS would quit picking on us relatively little guys and go after the biggies instead!
