1st rule of thumb...never leave home or print without an email confirming the buyer, the phone number the date and time, and the payment. Phone calls are all well and good from you trusted tried and true, but for the others, just tell them thanks, send me over the confirmation in an email. You have to call and confirm with the signers anyway. Never print anything until you get that. Truth be, it's a title company and you just did the closing on May 20th, that is only 6 business days ago, and no need to panic. We have EOM and a holiday in there. We are really used to that traditional SS confirmation, but title companies do it differently. Patience is necessary. I wouldn't be so hasty to write them off so fast....business is slow to a crawk right now...jmo |
